2008

The first Concerts for a Cure was held at World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, July 27, 2008 1-4 pm. Our concert raised over $10,000 and included performances from: MaryBeth Hammer, Liz Longley, John Conahan and Lizanne Knott.

Speakers included: Gina Bitetti (American Cancer Society), Kaitlyn Beisecker-Levin, MD, Art Hershey (PA House Representative), Arlen Specter (U.S. Senator) representative.

Proceeds from the show were donated to The American Cancer Society for HPV & Cervical Cancer related programs.

Attendance was approximately 200 persons from all ages. The first concert was a huge success and much fun was had by all!

Special thanks to The American Cancer Society, World Cafe Live, all the committee members, performers, volunteers and speakers for all your hard work and participation that made this concert a success!

Second Concerts for a Cure was held at Keswick Theatre, Glenside, PA on Sunday, September 20, 2009 4 pm.
